Guidance Counseling Program Mission
At Guthrie Center Schools, it is our mission to develop individual students to the best of their abilities so they may realize their full potential as life long learners, be socially responsible members of their community and contributing citizens of society.

Confidentiality
The school counselor keeps student information confidential unless disclosure is required to prevent clear and imminent danger to the student or others or when legal requirements demand that confidential information be revealed. School counselors protect student records and releases personal data in accordance with prescribed laws and school policies. Student information stored and transmitted electronically is treated with the same care as traditional student records.
